Karen Jones

Office/Business Administrator

Karen accepted Jesus Christ at the early age of 7. She grew up participating in church groups like GA's, Acteens and Youth Group as well as serving in the nursery wherever she was needed.

In 1990 Karen married Richard Jones, her high school sweetheart. In 1991 she graduated from Christopher Newport College with a BS in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting. She had her son, Andrew, in 1992. She served as treasurer/secretary at her church in Newport News from 1993-1994. After her daughter, Lauren, was born in 1994 she stayed at home with her children. When they reached school age she homeschooled them for 3 years. Both of her children were graduates of DBCS.

Karen returned to work as Office Manager at dental offices in both Hampton and Newport News from 2003 till July 2017. She was working in the dental field when God opened an opportunity for her to transition to Denbigh as the Business Administrator.

Karen is excited to serve the Lord in this capacity because she enjoys serving others and working with numbers!
