Men’s Ministries
The men of Denbigh meet together on a regular basis for Bible study,
prayer, and encouragement. Activities are scheduled throughout the year
for fellowship. A men’s softball team participates in a city
church league during the spring and summer. Involvement in the area
wide ministry of the Gathering of Men is also encouraged.
Women’s Ministries
Our W.O.W. (Women of Worth) Ladies Ministry provides many opportunities
for women to meet together for fellowship. Sunday School classes and
Bible studies are available for women to study the Bible together. Four
ladies circles meet monthly for fellowship, prayer, and support of
selected missionary families as well as ministry within the church and
community. The ladies also field a softball team to compete within the
city league. A highlight of the year is the annual ladies retreat at
Eastover Retreat Center for ladies of all ages. This uninterrupted time
together strengthens the bond of our Denbigh family.
Music Ministry
Our desire is to worship and glorify the Lord through our music. We
encourage the participation of our congregation as well as offering
many opportunities for individuals to be involved.
- Choir - The Adult Choir
ministers each Sunday morning as well as in musicals at Christmas,
Easter and July 4th. Practices are on Sunday afternoon at 5:30 PM.
- Special Music - Scheduled
for Sunday morning and evening services, special music includes vocal
solos, duets, trios, quartets, and small ensembles.
- Worship Teams – Various groups lead us as we sing praise to the Lord during many of our services.
- Instruments – Occasions
are available for instrumentalists to accompany congregational singing
on selected Sunday evenings or to provide special music during a Sunday
service.
Children’s Ministries
Various opportunities are available for our children including Sunday
School classes for each age group, nurseries for our babies and
toddlers, a children’s church program through grade 4 during the
Sunday morning service, AWANA program during the school year on
Wednesday evenings, Hymns for Him, and Vacation Bible School during the
summer.
Denbigh Baptist Christian School
Fully accredited through the Association of Christian Schools
International, our school of 500 students is available for children in
4 year kindergarten through 12th grade. The school’s mission is
“to
develop godly character and responsible citizenship through consistent
teaching of Biblical truth in an academic program, emphasizing
scholastic excellence and intellectual integrity." We would love

Soul Purpose
Soul Purpose is a community group at DBC that provides an
opportunity for men and women, who for various reasons come
unaccompanied to church, to fellowship and minister together.
