Denbigh Baptist in 5 Years

Where Denbigh will be in five years, only the Lord knows. However, our vision is for Denbigh to remain true to God and His Word, to the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to intentional involvement with our community. Our prayer is that God will continue to build His Church, and that Denbigh will a part of that process as a local expression of the larger universal Church.

Denbigh Baptist Today

Denbigh Baptist Church exists as a fellowship united in our Lord Jesus Christ, to worship God through evangelism and discipleship by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are accomplishing this through many avenues of ministry, ranging from a growing student ministry to a healthy Adult Sunday School program. Denbigh has faithful, enthusiastic preaching and teaching, along with God exalting worship, and a concentrated devotion to prayer. We are committed to having significant, intentional outreach to the community in which God has placed us. Finally, we view purposeful discipleship and leadership training as being of utmost importance.

Denbigh Baptist in the Past

Denbigh Baptist Church has faithfully representd Jesus Christ on the Peninsula since its founding in 1635 - almost 400 years! We have seen much growth and expansion over the years, both in structure and in people. However, our greatest joy and privilege has been sending out a number of missionaries and full-time workers, baptizing numerous individuals, and watching God bring many people to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.
