Welcome to the online community of Denbigh Baptist Church.  I’m glad you’ve stopped by and I hope that you will find what you are looking for.

If you’ve come searching for a church home, I want to encourage you to investigate thoroughly.  Of all the churches in the Hampton Roads area, God has brought you to this site for a reason.  We are continually in the process of reviewing our ministry to seek to be as effective as we can at loving God with all of our heart and loving people.  If you need a family, I’d love to have you consider ours available to you.

If you are feeling unsettled about your faith, or are a recent believer in Jesus, I believe you’ll find some information here that will help point you in a direction that will help you start or grow in your journey.

If you have been a part of the “family of God” for some time now, I’m sure you have experienced (as I have) that familiarity can have a tendency to breed monotony.  I’d encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities you will see described here so that you can feel more like you are being transformed than just informed.

We are a work in progress, just like you are.  As churches go, we’ve been around a long time.  We are working diligently to make sure we are taking the unchanging message of the Bible and putting it in the heart language of the people of our day.  With that in mind, I can affirm (as I often do) that the best days of ministry are ahead of us.  I’d love to have you come along with us in our journey.
