Church Leadership

DR. DAVID WILSON - Senior Pastor
email: dwilson@denbighbaptist.org

David Wilson has been in full-time Christian ministry for over 25 years.  He served as a pastor for 13 years and with a mission agency for 5 years before coming to Denbigh in 2003. Pastor Dave and Jodi have 4 children, ages 17-24.

Pastor loves music and enjoys leading worship, but his greatest joy is to see people transformed through interaction with the Word of God.  Consequently, a main focus of his ministry is the preparation of relevant, expositional messages from the Bible that speak to the everyday needs of our church family and those who visit with us.  He also loves small group ministry where teaching and study can take place on a more personal level.

Pastor Wilson’s education was completed at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA; Tyndale Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX; and Master’s International Divinity School in Evansville, IN, where he was awarded the Doctor of Practical Theology degree in Biblical Preaching.

In his spare time, Pastor Dave enjoys hanging out with Jodi, a good cup of coffee, an occasional round of golf, and fishing.

KENNY KIRBY - Student Ministries Pastor
email:kkirby@denbighbaptist.org

Before arriving at Denbigh in August of 2011, Kenny Kirby served as a Student Ministries intern in Michigan and as an Assistant Pastor in Western Pennsylvania.

Kenny’s passion is to glorify God by partnering with parents in guiding, equipping, and discipling students to be like Christ and reach their world with the gospel of Jesus.  His ministry is relational in nature as he relies on the Word of God to reach out to others and function as a resource to parents in training and discipling their students.

He graduated from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA with a B.S. emphasizing youth ministry.  He has pursued graduate studies through Dallas Theological Seminary and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is working toward his M.A. in Christian Leadership.

Pastor Kenny married Bethany in 2009, having met while at Bible College.  In his spare time, he enjoys sports, reading, movies and music.  He is also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
